Archiving a behavior in mytaptrack® Personal is a seamless process that helps you manage the behaviors you're tracking by temporarily removing them from your active list without deleting any historical data. This feature is especially useful for maintaining an organized view of current behaviors you're monitoring. Follow the steps below to archive a behavior for a student in your mytaptrack® Personal account.
Step 1: Accessing the Behavior Section
- Navigate to the Behavior Menu: Start by clicking on the "Behavior" menu item located in the top navigation bar of the mytaptrack® Personal interface. This area is your main gateway to managing all behavior-related information and activities.
- Proceed to Student Info: Within the Behavior section, locate and select the "Student Info" navigation tab. Clicking this tab will take you to a detailed overview of your students and their associated behaviors.
Step 2: Finding the Behavior to Archive
- Scroll Down to the Behavior Section: On the Student Info page, scroll until you reach the "Behaviors" section, where all tracked behaviors are listed.
- Select the Behavior: Look through the list to identify the behavior you want to archive. Behaviors may be organized in a way that makes it easy to find the specific one you're looking for, either by student name or behavior category.
Step 3: Archiving the Behavior
- Expand Behavior Details: Once you've located the correct behavior, click on its name to view more details. This action expands the behavior's section to show additional information such as frequency, last occurrence, and available actions.
- Initiate Archiving: Within the detailed view of the behavior, find and click the "Archive Behavior" button. This will start the process of moving the behavior to the archive, removing it from your list of actively tracked behaviors.
Important Considerations
- Accessing Archived Behaviors: Even though a behavior is archived, it's not permanently deleted. You can access archived behaviors by clicking the “Show Archived” button within the Behavior section, allowing you to review or reactivate them as needed.
- Effect on Reporting: Archiving a behavior removes it from your active tracking but preserves all historical data. This means you can still include data from archived behaviors in reports or analyses, offering a comprehensive overview of a student's progress over time.
