Tracking behaviors is a crucial aspect of monitoring and managing student progress on mytaptrack®. This guide will walk you through the process of tracking behaviors and viewing the tracked data for each student.

Step 1: Accessing the Tracking Menu

1. Navigate to Tracking: Start by locating the "Tracking" option in the menu navigation bar at the top of your screen. Click on it to access the behavior tracking feature.

2. View the Student Roster: Upon selecting the "Tracking" option, you'll see the student roster displayed on the left side of the screen. This list allows you to choose which student's behavior you wish to track.

3. Choose a Student: From the roster on the left, click on the name of the student whose behavior you want to track. Selecting a student will display their associated behaviors on the right side of the screen.

Step 3: Tracking Behaviors

1. Track a Behavior: With the student selected, a list of behaviors will appear on the right. Click on the specific behavior you wish to track for this student. Each click signifies an instance of that behavior being tracked.

Step 4: Viewing Tracked Behaviors

1. Go to the Behavior Menu: To view the behaviors you've just tracked, click on the "Behavior" menu item located in the top navigation bar. This action will take you to a different view within the platform.
   Select the Student: Similar to the tracking step, select the student you've tracked from the roster on the left side of the screen. This selection filters the view to only show data relevant to the chosen student.

1. Access the Student's Dashboard: After selecting the student, you will be directed to the student's dashboard. Here, you'll find the event(s) you've just tracked under the specific behavior category. The dashboard provides a comprehensive view of all tracked behaviors, allowing for easy monitoring and analysis. If you click on the graphs, you will be taken to the daily details for that day, which will show the exact data tracked.

Completing the Tracking Process

You have successfully tracked a behavior and viewed the tracked data on the student's dashboard. This process can be repeated as needed for different students or behaviors, providing a robust and user-friendly way to manage and monitor student behaviors over time.
