Congratulations on your implementation of mytaptrack. Setting up an account with mytaptrack is easy, but does require a few steps.
If you would like to schedule a brief overview and guidance in setting up your trial, please schedule here:
mytaptrack stores NO student data on mobile devices or our patented Track 2.0 clickers.
Let's get started with setting up your mytaptrack account!
1. Go to https://portal.mytaptrack.
2. Complete your profile and click "Accept".
3. Create your first new student by clicking the "+Create Student" button and complete the new student form.
4. Complete the "Create new student" form. You only need to add first name, last name, and your role.
- "Tags" allow you to group/organize students and you can tag students as needed.
- Select the appropriate license type to assign to the student and Click "Create" (see image below).
You are now ready to add the behaviors to track for this student.
5. Create the first behavior. You can personalize for each student. Name the behavior (use your language or language directly from an educational plan, it's up to you) (see image below).
6. The description allows you to operationally define the behavior and is only visible when using the browser tracking. It will not show in the mobile app due to the limited space. You can complete the description at anytime.
7. If you are going to track the behavior as a Duration, check the "Duration" check box. If this is not checked the behavior will be tracked with only frequency. (see image below)
8. This is all you need to complete in order to start tracking. Click "Save" (see image below).
9. Repeat steps 5-8 for each behavior you are tracking for this student.
To enroll the next student: Click the blue + Enroll Student button located in the upper left and complete the steps to add behaviors, events, observations, or goals for the new student.

- Check off the "track" box for each behavior you want to track from the mobile device you are registering.
- Change the order the behaviors will show on the mobile device with the arrows to the left of the behaviors.
- Click "Save".
6. A unique QR code is generated and will be used to scan the student's tracking information into the mytaptrack mobile app. for the device that was just registered. This QR code is not to be used with any other mobile device. You can also print the QR code with instructions (see image below).
7. Open the mytaptrack app on the mobile device just registered and click "Settings" from the navigation bar at the bottom of the screen on your mobile device.
8. Click "Scan QR Code".
9. Use the mobile device to scan the QR code directly from your computer screen or from a printed document. The student will now show up in the middle of the settings screen as shown in the image above.
10. Click "Home" from the navigation bar at the bottom of the screen on your mobile device. Easily switch between students as needed to capture the behavior.
11. Click the observed behavior to track. The lightning bolt indicates a frequency only. The "play" symbol indicates a duration and frequency and requires 2 clicks, one starts the duration and the second click stops it.
12. Try capturing NOTES! Use the "Notes" area at the bottom to send a note to the students record. You can type a note or engage the microphone option to capture voice notes. All notes will be transcribed, data/time stamped, and added to the student's "Note" tab on the student dashboard.
