Notifications are a great way to make support easier to provide when its needed. Each user sets up their own notifications and can receive both text messages as well as emails. There are two types of notifications mytaptrack® can supply.

On Each Occurrence

This type of notification gets sent off each time an event happens. These types of notifications are useful when either the behavior needs immediate support from someone like an administrator, paraprofessional or doctor.

On Pattern Change

This type of notification gets sent when the pattern of behaviors being tracked changes. This type of notification is not immediate, but is evaluated by an AI every day looking for deviations in the pattern of behavior being tracked for a student. In order for the system to be able to identify a pattern, the student needs to be tracked for 6 - 8 weeks to establish a baseline.

Note: to enable text messages you need to add a mobile number to your profile.

To register for notifications:

  • Click the name of the student who's behavior you whish to manage if its not selected.
  • Click the " Settings" link located at the top of the page.
  • Click the "Behaviors" tab if it's not selected.
  • Select the behavior you want to get notifications from by clicking on it.
  • In the "Notifications" section select each type of notification and delivery method you want.
  • Click the  button
