Duration Tracking

Duration tracking eliminates the need to keep an eye on the clock for IEP goals. When setting up a behavior you can specify that it should use duration tracking by clicking the "Duration" checkbox. Checking or unchecking this checkbox after a behavior has been created is also possible, but it will cause all the information obtained previously to be interpreted either as durations or not as durations. When you intend to change how a behavior is tracked, rename the current behavior and archive it. Then, create a new behavior to track the duration based information.

To make a behavior a duration:

  • Click the name of the student whose behavior you wish to manage if it's not selected.
  • Click the "Settings" link located at the top of the page.
  • Click the "Behaviors" tab if it's not selected.
  • Select the behavior you want to modify by clicking on it.
  • Click the "Duration" checkbox to make sure it is checked.
