What works for tracking behaviors can change based on the environment and complexity of the behavior being tracked. In some cases using the mytaptrack® Track 2.0 isn't the most convenient option. In that case mytaptrack® has the option for online tracking, using your web browser to easily track behaviors.
Navigate to tracking online:
- On the top navigation bar click the "Tracking" option
- Select the student to track on the Students list to the left
- The behaviors and descriptions will be shown along with the action buttons for tracking to their right
Tracking events
- To the right of the list of behaviors will be buttons which can be used to track with.
- To track events click the "Track" option
Tracking durations
- To the right of the list of behaviors will be buttons which can be used to track with
- To start tracking a duration click the "Start" button
- To stop tracking a duration click the "Stop" button
- To view the current duration being tracked look to the right of the start and stop buttons. The duration will be in the format hours:minutes:seconds.
The status of duration tracking will update every 5 seconds automatically. If the Track 2.0 is used to start a duration, the online tracking view will update to show that the duration has been started, and either the Track 2.0 or online tracking can stop the duration.
Notes
At the bottom of the page is the notes for that student. These notes will update every 5 seconds if you haven't typed anything into the notes section. If you have typed a note, the notes section will no longer update. In the event that two people have typed in notes and click "Save", the second person who clicks save will be notified that other notes have been saved. In this event, the second person should save their notes, then click the "Refresh" button located next to the save button. After refreshing the notes, paste the new notes into the notes area and click save to save the second individual's notes.
Hiding descriptions
- At the top of the page look for the title "Behavior Tracking"
- Click the checkbox named "Show Descriptions" right below the title
