mytaptrack Track 2.0 Clicker Best Practices
- Charge the battery for each Track 2.0 clicker before the initial set-up. To do this:
- Remove the bottom back section by pressing back on the three triangle protrusions
- REMOVE THE BATTERY from the Track 2.0 clicker.
- Use the micro-usb cable to connect the device to a power source.
- After charging replace the battery and close the Track 2.0 clicker.
- A smartphone or WiFi-enabled computer is needed to connect the Track 2.0 clicker to WiFi.
- If the network requires a password, you will need that information for set-up.
- Charge the battery of each Track 2.0 clicker nightly to ensure that no information is missed.
Configure the device for WiFi Setup:
When you first receive your mytaptrack Track 2.0 clicker, you need to first connect it to a Wi-Fi network before it can be registered and configured for a student. To complete this process you will need a Track 2.0 clicker and a smartphone or Wi-Fi enabled computer.
- Insert the battery.
- Wait for the purple blinking light to turn a solid purple.
- With a smartphone or a WiFi-enabled computer, search the list of available Wi-Fi networks.
- Select the Wi-Fi named “mytaptrack” and use the password "Inspire1". Note: The network may take up to 30 seconds to populate in your list of Wi-Fi options.
- After connecting to "mytaptrack", type "http://10.10.0.1" into your internet browser to be redirected to the Track 2.0 webpage.
- The webpage will allow connection to your local Wi-Fi network.
- Click the button on the device to complete Wi-Fi setup. The device after sending all current information will restart. Wait for the light to show a solid white color, followed by blinking blue, then the LED will turn off.
- Click the Track 2.0 button eight (8) times to update any firmware.
- The device is ready for use.

Red: Error or failure to communicate
Green: Data sent successfully
Blue: Communication in progress
Solid Purple: Wi-Fi Hotspot for configuring the device
Blinking Purple: Preparing configuration mode setup
Orange: An update is being installed
White: The device has started
